Colissimo or Mondial Relay shipping is available for a flat rate of:

  • €20 (EU and non-EU)

  • €35: French overseas departments and territories


What are the delivery times for Colissimo or Mondial Relay?

The estimated time is:

  • 5 to 10 business days for mainland France and the EU

  • 7 to 15 business days for French overseas departments and territories

This delay is due to our logistics process:

Your orders are first shipped from Dakar to France via consolidated shipping, then handled by Colissimo or Mondial Relay for final delivery.

This allows us to offer you a more affordable and cost-effective option while ensuring secure, tracked shipping.

What are your DHL shipping rates?

DHL shipping costs are:

  • €25 for mainland France; free shipping on orders of €250 or more.

  • €30 for the rest of the European Union, and free shipping on orders of €350 or more.

  • €30 for countries outside the EU, and free shipping on orders of €400 or more

  • €33 for North America; free shipping on orders of €450 or more

  • €45 for South America, and free shipping on orders of €600 or more

  • €25 for African countries and free shipping on orders of €250 or more

  • €47 for Asia; free shipping on orders of €1,000 or more

  • €70 for Oceania, and free shipping on orders of €1,000 or more.

  • €30 for overseas territories; Mayotte and Réunion Island: free shipping on orders of €800 or more

  • €85 for French Guiana; free for orders of €1,000 or more

  • €60 for Martinique and Guadeloupe; free for orders of €1,000 or more

What are DHL's delivery times?


The estimated time is

  • 48–96 business days in mainland France

  • 3 to 5 business days to the rest of Europe

  • 5 to 7 business days for all other destinations

Do you offer free shipping on orders over a certain amount?

Yes, we offer free shipping once you reach a certain purchase threshold. For orders of €250 or more, shipping is free within mainland France. Check out our FAQ to see which other destinations qualify for free shipping once you reach a certain purchase threshold.

Is there another way to avoid paying high shipping costs?

If you know someone who is leaving Dakar and can
bring your order back for you, you can
select the option “Pick up my order at the
store.” In this case, that person will
pick up the order at the store, but
you will be responsible if you
fail to pick up your order on time.
You can also choose the option: “
” delivery in Dakar for €5, and the designated person
will receive the order from our delivery drivers. Here too, it is at
your own risk. Sisters Of Afrika will
not be held responsible if you do not
receive your order.

How can I pay in installments via PayPal without any fees?

Simply choose to pay with PayPal when shopping online, log in to your PayPal account, and you’ll see a “Pay in 4” option if you’re eligible and the purchase qualifies. If so, request “Pay in 4” in just a few steps, get an instant response, and complete your purchase.

What purchase amounts are eligible for Pay in 4 Installments?

Payments in 4 installments are available for eligible order totals between €30 and €2,000.

Are there any fees associated with a 4-installment payment plan?

No, there is no fee for setting up a 4-installment payment plan.

Am I signing a contract with the merchant or with PayPal?

If your application for 4X Payment is approved, you enter into a contract with PayPal. This means that PayPal is the lender.

Where can I view the amount of my installments and the total amount I still have left to pay?

Sign in to your PayPal account, go to "Pay in 4 Installments," and then click on the "Pay in 4 Installments" payment you want to view. There, you can see the amounts of your previous installments in your "Pay in 4 Installments" activity. You can also view the amounts of upcoming installments by clicking on "View upcoming installments."

The amount you still need to repay is shown under “Remaining.”

Can I have my order delivered via GP to avoid DHL shipping fees if my purchase total is less than €200?

Yes, that's right.

In that case, please provide your GP’s address in Dakar when placing your order so that we can deliver it to them. If you don’t know their address, please provide our store’s address:

However, once your order has been delivered to your pickup location and delivery has been confirmed, it is no longer our responsibility. It is up to you to ensure that the package is delivered to you.

How can I pay in installments with Klarna at no extra cost?

What does the “Pay in 3 installments” option entail?

The "Pay in 3 installments" option is an alternative to traditional credit. It allows you to spread the cost of your purchases over 3 payments. These payments are automatically charged to your registered debit or credit card until the full order amount has been paid. Our app also lets you pay in a single installment, or even pay off the entire balance early if you wish. However, it is not currently possible to postpone the scheduled payment date.

If your order is eligible for the “Pay in 3 installments” option, you can select this option at checkout and enter your debit or credit card information. As soon as the store ships your order, you’ll receive an email from Klarna with your payment schedule, and we’ll charge the first installment to your card. You can view and manage your purchases and payments in our app. Be sure to download it to stay in control and never miss a payment!

Good to know: There are no fees for using the “Pay in 3 installments” option!

How do I sign up for the "Pay in 3 installments" option?

No registration is required! If your order is eligible, the option will be available at checkout. You don’t need to enter any additional information. Simply select “Pay in 3 installments” as your payment method and enter your debit or credit card information. This is the card we will use for the scheduled automatic payments.

We specialize in tie-dye and
all its variations, and develop our own
designs, which make our products unique and
distinctive. To achieve this, we work with
female dyers.

Who is behind Sistres Of Afrika?

Sisters Of Afrika was founded by Héléne Daba in
2013, and her sister Jeanne joined the group a few
months later.

What should I do if I like a design but you no longer make it?

You can fill out the Typeform form at

Is it more expensive to order custom-made items?

Yes, of course, we make ready-to-wear clothing, so
making custom-made items costs us more because
it requires more time and resources

Do you have a social policy?

We created SOACARE to help
young women, particularly those
who are incarcerated, so they can take
training courses and thus support themselves—for
example, through a candle-making course
that we market under our brand—and
enable them to purchase
sanitary pads. Women’s empowerment is particularly close to our hearts
and we strive
at our level to do our part
to support this cause. This same training will also be provided
at the “Maisons Roses,” which
provide shelter for women who are victims of domestic
and sexual violence

Is it possible to order a model that isn't available?

Yes. You can order a model that is currently out of stock in the fabric of your choice.

Do you offer alterations if the garments are too long?

Yes, this is a service we offer free of charge to our customers. You can leave us a message directly when placing your order to let us know the length you’d like and your height so we can tailor the garment to fit you better.

Are touch-ups free?

Yes, we offer alterations.

However, please allow 5 business days in addition to the 3 days required to prepare your order, starting from the date your order is confirmed.

Do the colors run after washing?

No, the colors do not fade after washing. We recommend machine-washing tie-dye cotton garments at a maximum temperature of 40°C and avoiding the dryer to prevent damage to the natural dye.

Do you make your own fabrics?

Yes, we design and print our own fabrics. That’s what makes our designs unique, original, and instantly recognizable. You won’t see them everywhere.

How do I return an item if I don't like it or if it's defective?

If you are not satisfied with the item, you have 14 days to return it to us in its original packaging and in perfect condition. It must not have been worn or washed. Once we have received and inspected the item(s), we will process your exchange or refund within 3 days, depending on the payment method used when you placed your order.

You are responsible for the return shipping costs, even if shipping was free at the time of your order.

Even though items are shipped from Dakar, Senegal, we make returns easy by allowing you to send them back to Sisters Of Afrika France, so that customers living in Europe and North America don’t have to pay additional shipping costs.
