OUR HISTORY
Two sisters, Hélène Daba DIOUF and Jeanne DIOUF, dream of a
platform to celebrate Senegalese cultural heritage through
fashion.
This marks the birth of Sisters of Afrika (SOA).
More than just a ready-to-wear brand, SOA is an ode to the
African woman, her strength, elegance, and authenticity.
For over a decade, we have been dedicated to redefining the
contours of African fashion.
Our vibrant and colorful collections are the result of passionate work
, aimed at offering unique pieces that tell a
story: that of a creative, innovative Africa, proud of its
roots.
Each garment is conceived as a bridge between tradition and
modernity, a dialogue between the past and the future.

OUR MISSION
At the heart of our mission is a commitment to highlighting and promoting
local expertise. We firmly believe that “Made in Africa”
is a mark of quality, authenticity, and innovation.
These core values guide everything we do:
Made in Senegal: Our goal is to achieve 100% “Made in Senegal” by
2030, across every stage of the production chain. Today
the ultimate goal has not yet been achieved, but we are proud of the
fact that the vast majority of design and production takes
place in our country. We thus contribute to the development of
the local economy and to the recognition of African craftsmanship on
the international stage.
Expertise and authenticity: we are committed to preserving and
modernizing traditional artisanal techniques, thereby ensuring
unique creations steeped in history.
Sisterhood and empowerment: Sisters of Afrika is a story of
women. We celebrate sisterhood and are committed to
supporting women’s empowerment, both through our creations
and within our teams.
Modernity and boldness: our collections stand out for their
contemporary cuts, vibrant colors, and unique designs
, which reflect the energy and vitality of today’s Africa
EXPERTISE

The secret behind Sisters of Afrika’s originality lies in our
mastery of unique artisanal techniques, passed down from generation to
generation. At the heart of our identity lies Tie & Dye, a
traditional dyeing technique that we reinvent through
our collections.
Far from being static, this ancestral know-how is an inexhaustible source
of inspiration for us. We develop our own printed designs
, creating exclusive and recognizable patterns that are
the signature of our brand.
Each piece is the result of meticulous work, where the artisan’s touch
leaves a unique imprint, making every garment authentic and
original.
This creative process, combining tradition and innovation, allows us
to offer fabrics of exceptional quality and great
visual richness, which embody the soul of Sisters of Afrika
The manufacturing process for our tie-dye fabrics.
